At Girls for Girls Africa Mental Health Foundation (G4G Africa), we are dedicated to providing comprehensive mental health support to underserved communities in Kenya.
Our focus areas include:
Access to mental healthcare in underserved communities remains a significant challenge due to stigma, financial barriers, and limited services. Our Mobile Therapy Unit bridges this gap by bringing mental healthcare directly to those who need it most.
Economic independence is a crucial aspect of recovery and resilience for survivors of GBV and individuals with mental health challenges. Our economic empowerment programs are designed to provide participants with the skills, resources, and opportunities needed to rebuild their lives.
Mental health literacy refers to the knowledge and understanding of mental health conditions, including recognizing symptoms, knowing when to seek help, and reducing misconceptions or stigma. By building mental health literacy, we empower individuals and communities to better address mental health challenges.
Every survivor is empowered to access healing, justice, and a safe space within a supportive and trauma-informed society
Our mission is to foster healing and recovery among survivors by supporting them in accessing mental health care and seeking justice to build resilient trauma-sensitive communities.
